I received in my mailbox today an invitation from the East Side Democratic Club for an opportunity to hear and question candidates for:

Governor (Eliot Spitzer, Tom Suozzi)
Lieutenant Governor (David A. Paterson)
State Comptroller (Alan G. Hevesi)
State Attorney General (Richard L. Brodsky, Andrew Cuomo, Mark Green, Charlie King, Sean Patrick Maloney, Denise O’Donnell)

When: Sunday, May 7, 2006, at 4:30 pm
Where: NYU Medical Center, 550 First Avenue at 32nd Street

Co-Sponsored by the following other Democratic Clubs: C.O.D.A., Eleanor Roosevelt, Gramercy Stuyvesant Independent, Lenox Hill, Lexington, and Tilden Midtown.

Also, the East Side Democratic Club’s next regular meeting is on June 1 – for further information, email eastsidedc@-REMOVE-THIS-yahoo.com. (Obviously, remove the “-REMOVE-THIS-” part in the email address or it won’t work; I’m just trying to protect them from spam…) Personally, I’ve never been to one of the meetings, despite putting myself on their mailing list, but it’s time I started going.
