Aaron Naparstek notices something about how most people view bicycles. He’s right, of course, and I share his frustration. Personally, I don’t even own a bicycle, but it’s not in favor of a car, it’s in favor of subways, buses, and walking — and that only because New York’s cycling infrastructure, especially on the UES, is woefully underestablished.
