“water is not the cook’s best friend when it comes to preparing vegetables”
I would like to see a healthy-cooking comparison for other foods as well. But then the question is also, does food cooked primarily in a microwave taste as good? Because, for example, baked veggies taste different from stir-fried veggies. The choice of method has to do with the dish you’re making, not just pure health. Obviously.
I’m confused, are they talking about fresh vegetables? If you micro frozen ones, they taste pretty much the same. I have also heard this before that boiling kills your veggie healthy goodness. I prefer to stirfry anyways, but then you’ve got the oil.. which is why i was using cooking spray a bit before too.. but if we’re talking about microwaving FRESH veggies, i have no clue.. i can’t say ive ever done that
deep fried TASTES the BEST !
